Cards of Kindness
In 2016 I decided to give a card to someone at random everyday for a year. I wrote a positive message on a sticky note and put it inside a card that spoke to kindness. With each card I suggested that when the recipient was ready they could add their own note and pass the card onto someone else. This was the beginning - Cards of Kindness.
I continue to make cards that speak to kindness and invite anyone to share a Card of Kindness with someone whether you know the recipient or not.
Each Card of Kindness purchased from me will include a sticky note telling the recipient they can remove the note to use the card again, AND I will donate $1.00 from each card sold to a group that would benefit.
During this summer and fall 2019, I will be donating the money to the South Shore Food Project. This group is working hard to provide students with healthy balanced meals in our local schools. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, there are many families who are unable to provide a healthy meal (or a meal at all) for their child. A healthy meal for a child at school helps build on their success!
